Connect an AI assistant

Add Cineforum to Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT and ask it about your own films, the people you follow and your groups. The connection is read-only: an assistant can look, but it can never rate a film, join a group or change anything in your account.

Whichever assistant you use, the steps are the same: paste the address, and Cineforum shows you an approval screen to sign in and confirm.

You can cut off an assistant at any time from Settings → Connected apps.

Works on every Claude plan. On the free plan you can add one custom connector.

  1. On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click +, then "Add custom connector".
  3. Paste the Cineforum address above. Leave the advanced settings empty — Cineforum does not need a client ID or secret.
  4. Click Add and sign in to Cineforum on the approval screen.
  5. In a chat, click + at the bottom left, choose Connectors, and switch Cineforum on.

On a Team or Enterprise account, an owner adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors, and then each member presses Connect. Add the connector on a computer; it works in the Claude mobile apps afterwards.

Assistants move these menus around. If a step does not match what you see, look for "connectors" or "apps" in the settings.
