Se trata de una película completamente fiel a la obra de Shakespeare. Está rodada en interiores, lo cual la hace muy teatral, pero la fotografía en blanco y negro le otorga una atmósfera muy interesante. Además las magníficas actuaciones de Denzel Washington y Frances McDormand hacen que sea una película muy disfrutable.
